Jamshedpur SDC orders approval of loan application

Jamshedpur, September 20: East Singhbhum Deputy Development Commissioner Pradeep Prasad, chairing the District Level Oversight Committee meeting on Tuesday, asked the Senior District Manager to approve the pending applications from the Prime Minister’s Job Creation Project .

During the review, four applications were found pending at the Bank of Baroda, the senior district manager was asked to settle the settlement within 15 days.

He was informed by the Bank of India that out of 87 applications forwarded, 21 applications have been approved and further action is being taken for 14. The Deputy Commissioner for Development has expressed his dissatisfaction with the acceptance rate of the banks. He said that at the last meeting, instructions were given to generate and upload two applications from each branch, but during the review, the progress was found to be very disappointing. He said if even a single nomination was generated and approved by each branch, the district’s achievement would have been good. He requested the Senior District Manager and all District Bank Coordinators to direct all banks at their respective level to generate two mail-in applications.

He spearheaded the organization of a camp on September 27 under the supervision of Block Development Manager, Zilla Parishad member Jamshedpur, District Industries Center office members, Block Entrepreneurs Coordinator and Branch Managers bank, and selected eligible applications under the PMEGP program for KVIC. .
