The main objectives of MTN Yellowpreneur are to reduce or lessen the unemployment rate of women and to support the advancement of women in entrepreneurship by building their capacity to realize their entrepreneurial potential.

MTN Yellopreneur Loan Requirements – Who Can Apply?
- Any female entrepreneur who can demonstrate passion and commitment to self-employment and run an existing business for up to two years in manufacturing, processing, ICT, agriculture, digital
services, financial services, etc. - Please note that the focus is on companies that source raw materials locally.
MTN Yellopreneur Loan Qualification
- The minimum qualification for the MTN Yellopreneur loan is an upper secondary school certificate such as WAEC, NECO, NATEB or its equivalents.
- Disbursement Bank
- The disbursing bank or implementing partner for this initiative with the MTN Foundation is the Bank of Industry (BOI).
Capacity building (training)
There will be a virtual (online) training session that includes self-paced, instructor-led sessions. MTN will provide data throughout the training period.
Date of training
The MTN Yellopreneur Virtual Training is scheduled for a period of four (4) weeks in August 2022. Loan of Equipment Value: Each female entrepreneur will receive up to N2 million
loan of equipment subject to the analysis of their business plan.
Loan repayment term
The repayment period of the MTN Yellopreneur loan is 6 months moratorium and 36 months repayment period.
Note: This loan repayment is subject to the terms and conditions agreed by the female entrepreneur beneficiary with the BOI.
